We were privileged to have world renowned writer, historian and editor of the Harvard Review Christina Thompson join us at the kitchen one afternoon thanks to luxury magazine Departures and Southern Crossings. If having Christina & her husband visit wasn’t enough they were joined by Derek Henderson, arguably one of New Zealands most celebrated photographers.

Not wanting to give away how star struck we were, we spent the afternoon showing them our small piece of life in Kaikoura regaling them of our journey and why the whenua and moana are so important to us.
