The Hapuku Kitchen Experience
A Full-Day Journey - From Garden to Feast
The Hapuku Kitchen Experience is an ever-changing feast that celebrates the rhythms of the seasons. Join chef Fiona in her rural cook's kitchen to harvest, forage and prepare a three-course menu inspired by the wild Kaikōura landscape.
This is a full-day immersion for keen cooks who want to discover the art of ethical eating, cooking from scratch and refining their kitchen craft. You'll spend the day harvesting straight from the earth, learning thoughtfully layered techniques under Fiona's guidance and sitting down to a generous, shared feast that reflects everything you've grown, gathered and cooked together.
This is cooking at its fullest — unhurried, hands-on and deeply rooted in place. You'll leave with new skills, a full belly and even a small legacy in our soil, having planted something of your own to grow long after you've gone.
The Hapuku Kitchen Experience is one of our small, shared classes, with a maximum of 8 guests — perfect for keen cooks wanting a genuinely immersive day in our kitchen and gardens.
