Taste of the Farm
A Half-Day Experience - from Farm to Table
Slow down and savour the flavours of the land on this relaxed, hands-on half-day cooking class. Taste of the Farm invites you into our home and our garden, where the story of every dish begins.
Guided by Fiona, you'll start in the garden, harvesting fresh, seasonal ingredients straight from our garden beds — herbs, vegetables and whatever's at its best that day. From there, it's into the kitchen, where you'll learn simple, farm-to-table techniques as you transform your harvest into a relaxed, shared feast.
This is cooking the way we love it — unhurried, generous and deeply connected to what's growing just outside the door. You'll leave with new skills, a full belly and a real sense of what makes Kaikōura produce so special.
Taste of the Farm is one of our small, shared classes, with a maximum of 8 guests — perfect for solo travellers, couples, or small groups wanting an intimate, hands-on introduction to our kitchen.
