Forage, Fire, Smoke

A Full Day of Fire, Smoke and Flavour

Forage, Fire, Smoke is a full-day celebration of the oldest way of cooking there is. Join Fiona and Chris in our outdoor kitchen, where open flame and slow smoke transform fresh, foraged ingredients into a rustic, deeply flavourful three-course feast.

You'll begin in the garden, harvesting what's fresh and in season, before heading to the fire to master the raw energy of open-flame cooking and traditional smoking techniques. Together, we'll build the coals, tend the flame and cook a menu shaped entirely by fire — nothing rushed, nothing ordinary.

This is cooking stripped back to its essence: real fire, real ingredients and real skill. You'll leave with a genuine feel for a technique as old as cooking itself and a three-course feast to show for it.

Forage, Fire, Smoke is one of our small, shared classes, with a maximum of 8 guests — ideal for anyone drawn to rustic, hands-on cooking and the theatre of an open flame.
